headers question

i found headers in ebay for 240$ would it be worth it to forget about the warranty and get it ????or maybe everytime i take to the dealership take the headers out .... i know it will improve my perfomance but i only have 7000 miles on it...tell what you guys think.... also they have the black tail lights on ebay for 150$

If it would void the warranty (don't know for sure) I'd wait. I don't think those headers are going to be an easy swap-out to do it every time you want to take it to the dealer. I've thought about that myself.

As far as 'future mods' you listed, have you seen this supercharger?

Might do this myself once my warranty is up if I don't trade it for the anticipated 255 HP version X3 rumored to come out around 2007.

p.s. i just contacted the dealer i will void the warranty if i installed headers.As for the supercharged is obvious.

Sarge, re:Headers...why would you want them?
I'd skip that dough and install-mess until post-warr.
Even then, I'd skip headers which leads to diff cat back tailpipes and is a waste of dough without intake changes, eng mgmt adjustments, etc., etc.

For that kind of money and time, you could toss your X and get a used 4.8 by then.
