e83 windshield area cracking noise in cold weather

When its cold outside, like -15c I have a terible cracking noise coming from the winshield/ a-pillar area. I've removed the outer trims on the windshield, the interior a-pillar covers and the windshield cowl trim and wiper arms. I cant find the issue, ANYONE have this before? What is it?

Have you had the windshield replaced?

Cracking noises can be any plastic pieces touching the glass as the two surfaces heat and expand at different rates. Can happen after glass replacement or not; sometimes some padding at the edge of the glass can help.
