BMW originally made airplane engines. The blue and white came from the propeller spinning against the blue sky, hence the blue and white roundel. Then they went on to make motorcycles and then cars.....

On which car did you see that on?

Would it be the Mercedes S-Class? Just a guess out of the blue.

A concept similar to that first appeared on the "Baroque Angels" after WWII. The turn signals were integrated into the b-pillar. They were basically flags that popped-out when planning a turn...

it was built in 1928.
They built it in the Eisenbach factory
the car was the Dixi 3/15 PS
It was built under license from Austin and was essentially the same model as the US Bantam and the Japanese Datsun.

what do i win

EDIT: that was the 1st car if thats not the answer your looking for
then
what BMW calls the 1st REAL car was the AM4 built in 1932 also called the 3/20 PS, was the successor to the Dixi and the first production car to be built entirely in-house by BMW.

still amazing that now we have the V10 M5 making 500hp where the dixi made only 15hp and the AM4 made 20hp both with top speeds of 50mph and the M5 tops out in gear 5 of 7 cause of the gov.
