X3 Pedal set recommendation

Ok, so I know I've only had my new X3 two days, but the plastic pedals are pretty lame.

I've been looking at several Carbon Fiber and Aluminum three piece sets. The onese that screw into the existing pedals. The pedals look the same as the ones in the 2010.

Foot rest, Brake, and Gas pedal.

Anyone have tried some of these? Recommendations of a better brand to buy and ones to avoid would be a great help.
