New X3 DRLs

Could anyone with a late model X3 and halogen headlights please have a look and see what is used for the Daytime running lights? I know with the Xenon equipped cars that the 'Angel Eyes' are used as DRLs but there seems to be confusion over the halogen models.
I am just about to order a new X3 but want to make sure that I do not wind up with the full dipped beam being used for DRLs.

Unless the UK is different, BMW has gone to using the full beams under reduced power as the DRLs.
