New X3

Hi Guys,
I'm in the market for a X3, but not sure if I should go with 4 or 6 cylinder. I currently own a X5 4.8. Thanks for the feedback.

I just got a 2015 X3 3.5. M-Sport, Carbon Black/Oyster interior. Traded in a 2012 X5 5.0. Love the X3!!! Lighter, much better handling, little smaller but still plenty of room to carry 5 people comfortably. Absolutely love it.

congrats..

and wow, i also have the 12 X5 50 M-sport and am trading it in for either the X3 or X4 M-sport. Still haven't decided but the plan is to place order this weekend.

Don't have kids, and dont' really care about losing a little trunk space. did you consider the X4, if so, why did you chose the X3 over it?

Did not really consider the X4. I have a 90 lb dog that frequently rides in the back for a couple hour drive to the mountains and I did not think the tapered back would allow much headroom for him. X3 is perfect. slightly smaller in back but still plenty of room. I also cycle a lot and have no problem getting my bike and gear in back with the seats down.

Best of all though the X3 is just so much fun to drive versus the X5. My 2012 X5 was fast but not nimble. This thing is both. Let the soccer mom's drive the new X5, I will take this any day.

went to the dealer today to place an order for an X4 and noticed a hot looking brand new left over 2014 alpine white X3 35i xdrive w/m-sport pkg w/blk interior and white stiching. Had all the options, tech, dynamic, upgraded sound, heads up, premium, m pkg w/19 double spoke all-season RFTs, heated everything, etc. Asking was $56 but i negotiated the price down to $48,500. Bought it right on the spot. glad i did. wife looked at the X4 and wasn't feeling it. will post pics soon.
