-suspension inactive-/Intrax Module question
Hey guys, Im super new here but have a question about a suspension problem.
I have a 4.8is and have had a handful of service visits that have resulted in fixing faulty ride height sensors, a front left air strut and the sign finally was off. Then driving only one day later to have the sign come back on I took it in again and turns out the module is fried. BMW said they could do it for 1500 and thats too much, i can't get it reprogrammed at a shop here cause they have had bad luck with the bmw suspension modules so Im looking at other options. Intrax made a module to control it manually with the ride height adjuster. My question is, if i install one of these with a friend oem module, will it take over the suspension and activate it again? Thanks, Mario. |

For one i think the intrax is discontinued, youd have to find a used one out there and thats probably rare.
Two, the intrax piggybacks off the actual module to allow you to stay in the offroad height or access height at all times. There is no way to program that, and factory settings is after 25mph it goes back to ride height. Search for a used module.
