Wiring Woes

I fitted a newer TCU in the hopes of getting Bluetooth working on my 5/04 production E53. Found some conflicting info about whether or not it needed to be coded, but when I ran diags the module keeps coming up 'not found' I tried with the new and the original TCU.

Today I grabbed my multimeter and found no power at pins 17 & 18 on the TCU connector. There is power on 35, ground on 36 and about 7V on 15 (CAN bus). Fuses are all OK.

Does anyone know where the 'next stop' for 17 & 18 are?

Rather than taking out the whole interior, would it be a Very Bad Idea to just 'jump' power into those pins using some crimp taps?

Car was originally fitted with Assist, so I'm assuming that the wiring was originally all in place.
