Resistance values for fuel level sending units?
My driver's side sending unit failed, the rheostat board physically broke in half. I had a passenger side level sender and swapped over the rheostat board and now the gauge works again, and OBC test 6 shows a left and right level again. Previously, left value was zero. However, I'm not sure if there are any differences in the rheostat boards. They may not reflect fuel level properly? Anyone understand more about this system that sees something I may have missed? Oh, this is on a 2003 4.6is if it matters.

Wake this one from the dead! Anyone have the values for the left and right? I am hoping the two rheostat boards are interchangeable.

Nope they arent interchangeable. The two sides of the tank are different capacity and shape and their float assemblies are calibrated for it. The boards will physically swap but will not show correct level.
