Is radio amp fussy about same part #?
I have a non DSP, no navigation radio system. My radio amp part #65128379376 Alpine is damaged. I see other "non DSP" BMW radio amps on Ebay for cheaper than my part number claiming they fit X5. The wiring harness looks the same.
Anyone ever try with success a different part number radio amp? thanks

The only thing I'd worry about is that they came from an X5. They are all tuned to the speakers in each vehicle, and maybe, just maybe, to the vehicle itself (internal volume/shape affects the tunes).
I wish German Audio Specialties made an X5 crossover. I'd recommend you toss that and a decent amp in and you'd be tons happier than a stock amp (or so I've been told).
