Another New guy....

Good afternoon all,

Been lurking around here since November 2014, when I purchased a new to me, 2006 X5 4.4i, Imola Red..105k miles... Sport pkg, Cold climate pkg, etc. 3 sets of wheels, 18" with snows, 19" Type 87 Staggered and 20" Type 87 Staggered with Michelins..

I have't had a BMW since my 528E in the 80's.... Am really enjoying the X5, as my Winter, rainy day ride....

My summer ride is a 2000 Porsche Boxster S, 1st year production, 50k miles, factory hardtop, factory SS exhaust, etc... only seen light rain once, snow never.

Been enjoying reading the forum and using search function to resolve minor issues...

I will be looking for your input as I begin to repair a few little things... Rear window washer, headlight washers, parking sensor issues, dash pixel issues... All else is pretty nice...

Will post some pix as soon as the weather improves/warms and I get her cleaned up...

Looking forward to being a part of the gang!

Pup

Welcome, mortal!

Obviously, you are a person of taste and style as Imola is the color to have in my humble, but correct, opinion.

Enjoy your new ride!

Hey mate, welcome to the forum. Heaps of great information here from a whole bunch of people whose brains are full of X5 information. Then there are others...like me.

Word of advice if I may. Don't mention transmission fluid changes or stiffening plate bolts! LOL

I love the early model boxters - they are/were just such a pure driving machine - all about handling. Am very envious!
