Tire Storage - exposed to winter elements?

You keep saying in a shed, and exposed to the elements. So it doesn't add up. Unless you mean the shed is exposed to the elements. In that case, your house is exposed to the elements too. Just put them in the shed and they will be just fine.

Sorry.
Shed is outside and exposed to the elements. The shed has walls and a roof but the walls are slatted with gaps between, like 1/2" gaps so it's not a solid complete wall, if that makes sense

Now it is clear...before it wasn't when you wrote shed & exposed together...and since some sheds only have 3 walls & a roof...exposure to the elements may not have been completely blocked in the way your shed was described.

But still...with the gaps in the wall...and if the winter tires are going to be stored in there as well during the summer months...you may want to invest in a commercial tire cover (see a vendor like bavauto) or some other covering that can protect the tires from direct sunlight (even if only for short intervals of the day).
