Anyone with a black 4.8is paint their diffusers silver?

Car below is not mine (KungFuPanda), but mine looks identical to it. Anyone with a black 4.8is paint their diffuser silver?

My vote would be to keep it matching body colour. You could photoshop it to see what it would look like. Don't think you'd like it though.

Anyone good at photoshop so I could at least see it? I admit the car looks excellent as is, but it would be nice to see a photoshop version.

5 yrs ago I looked at a silver '03 4.6is with the F&R splitter/diffuser/spoiler (don't know actual names), refinished in satin black. The painted surfaces matched the color & shine of the surrounding lower plastic item.

If I can find a set (at a reasonable price), I will P/U and refinish in satin black. Much better cohesive look IMHO. The painted pcs look too "boy racer" for me!

Ewww, why would someone want a mis-matched car. It would just turn out looking like a 3.0 or 4.4 that someone bought used 'is' panels for and didn't have enough money to paint them. Ghetto!
