Purchased addl. E53 key, programmed, first key stops working

Odd

Only had 1 key when I purchased the X5, so bought an additional one from dealer.

Did initializing procedure on new key, works, ignition start and keyless entry/alarm.

But now my alarm/keyless entry features stopped working on first key.

I do initialization procedure on first key, it works again fully.

Seems vehicle will only allow keyless entry/alarm via one key at a time!

Both keys will start vehicle.



Help! Dealer confused also.
