Would love something like this! Tell me, what are the perks other than having the name and a better sounding exhaust?

I'm completely happy with the way my X5 sounds right now and I like the stock tips.

I think you've about covered it right there! Oh, maybe shiny stainless pipes to look at when you're on your back under the car.....potentially a poofteenth of weight savings.....

The tips don't look as strong, they don't have the rolled edge that the OEM tips have and they're kind of upswept - so you'd have to really like the look IMHO. If you don't rate the appearance, there are easier/cheaper/better ways to improve the sound using the existing system.

I must say i love the rolled edges of the OEM exhaust. It really adds to the wide, meaty look on the ass of the X. If I'd go anywhere with my exhaust, it'd probably be something that looks similar to the quad-tip DINAN set-up. Wonder what it would sound like with the mufflers cut out, the ones right behind the tips?

LOL! Actually now that I look at it, the Hamann tips are not as attractive as the stock 4.8's. Just thought of you two guys with your pristine X's...

Who am I kidding on exhaust as well, I fitted a 4.8iS axle back on my M54 haha!

IMO best looking aftermarket exhaust was the quad Dinan or Eisenmann...
