Disable Seat Belt Warning Light with BMW Scanner?
![]() I saw some options under SRS regarding belt buckle switch, but didn't want to get froggy without asking the experts here first! Thanks guys!

Might be possible with NCS Expert. I don't know with a scanner though. I've heard of disabling the chime. But, not the light. Someone else might chime in. You could always remove the bulb if you wanted to be really simple.

Well, I tried the SRS setting, disabling the drivers side buckle switch. The warning light for the belt went away, but then the warning light for the airbag came on instead, lol! SRS now has a red error code for "seat belt state implausible". So decided to just put things back the way they were and go with this slightly lower tech solution:

I used PA Soft to turn off the FASTEN SEAT BELT display in the message center, but I still get the chime and the light. The chime repeats until I buckle up.
