Compound/polish it like you would the paint, it should come out great.

This is a curious product though, if you try it I wonder if it lasts. And if it comes out better than polishing. I have some etched water spots in my trim that won't come out.

I don't agree with the gentleman's website though, my shadowline trim polished up nicely, as opposed to my anodized roof rails which have faded to a slightly gray color (need to get them PC'ed)
The only plus I see with this, is if 1 application last longer, since I have all the products you used to polish yours. I'll probably have a go at it with this, and see what it does, and how long it lasts, if it does anything...

One tip is to avoid coin operated car washes. Made the mistake (once) of using a touch free auto wash, the harsh chemicals in the soaps dried on the car and leave heavy water etching. I found Meguiars leather cleaner is excellent for clearing it off though (go figure).

Car has since been detailed and sealed. This is mine after HD Cut, HD Polish then OptiCoat+. Always hand washed and dried. Has stayed like this since.

Well mine was shipped out and I will have it later today. One thing I didn't realize is the guy that sells this is basically located exactly where I live. I'm sure I could have just picked it up in person and got it yesterday.

^Smokey great tip! Care to share the Megs Leather Cleaner link, I'd like to check the MSDS and see if the cleaners I have (APC, leather cleaner, etc) are similar in formulation, I still have a few water spots to clean up on mine

I'll admit I never clicked on the link until now.

LOL. At $40, that IMO goes a long way towards paint polish that more versatile....IMO.
Yes, you need to spend more to get a good sealant ontop.

Pillars IMO are always a good ~telltale~ indicator on how a car paint is cared for.

BEAUTIFUL! If I can get mine looking like that, I'll be happy...

I got it today but didn't get home in time to try it out. Hopefully I will get to it tomorrow. I watched the included DVD but is just the same video that is on the website. No info on what the masking tape is used for

I'd say it's for masking, just to take a stab...

The guy claims its a polymer sealant, yeah? Would you want to get that coating on window rubber, paint etc? Would it result in a different surface finish if you did?

Although it isn't shown being used in the video, that would be my guess. An email to the fella might even clear the matter up for sure!
