Recoding Speedometer

Has anyone successfully recoded their speedometer to correct it? I have read many threads in other forums about this subject and I understand how to do it. But I do not know what variables to load. The E46 forums have allot of info about how to do it, and what numbers to install for their vehicals but I have yet to find any info for the X5. I have PA soft and have recoded other items. I can't stand the speedometer being off.
