Intermediate Levers/Eccentric Shaft --> Misfires - In Spring/Summer?
I am confused on this. From everywhere I have read, this typically only happens in cold temperatures but I am consistently getting misfire on cylinder 6 even at 70F. We have ruled out plugs, coils, fuel pressure, injectors, maf, ccv.... so pretty much pointing to the levers and shaft.
I disconnected the eccentric shaft sensors and did not get any misfires but got CEL P0103 - Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit High Input. It would drive fine but on moderate acceleration it would suddenly stumble for a second or 2. Don't know if all these are related but it concerns me and giving me doubts on replacing the levers and shaft versus just trade it in. This is an 05 4.4 with 82K miles. |

Have you run the idle smooth running values test?

The levers typically exhibit multiple misfires on several cylinders and on cold starts. Mine hasn't acted up once since the warm weather. Codes are clear. Expect it will act up again late Fall.
