Alternator Bracket Leak and other maintenance
Since I have owned the vehicle, I have replaced the vacuum pump gasket, coolant reservoir, and changed the power steering hose clamps under the reservoir. Since I am going to have a lot of things torn apart for the alternator gasket- what else should I do while I'm in there? Cooling System refresh, belts, plugs, etc? If cooling system, does the radiator need to go as well? Or am I good with water pump, thermostat and hoses? I also have a 2005 325Ci and have done a lot of work on it -including VCG, transmission fluid/filter, cooling system refresh, and CCV. So I feel comfortable hitting a lot of projects while I'm in there. Thanks for any advice you might have. |

Maybe motor mounts since you need to remove one anyway?
