3.0l driver side rear wheel clinking

I am pretty stumped with this sound..

When going over bumps, even slight bumps, there is a clinking sound coming from my X5s driver side rear wheel. It sounds like a loose screw but I have no idea what it is.

I brought it to my mechanic, and even he has no idea what it is. Just clinking sound of like a loose screw coming from the driver side rear wheel..

It sucks when you're driving in a quite area and you hear the clinking.. all the people walking outside are looking at your car like a wheel is about to fall off..

Has anybody had this problem before? I tried searching but searching brings me to blank page and nothing happens..
