Another window question thread

Hey guys, I have problems with both my front windows but each has different symptoms. The drivers side seems like it is likely a bad clip because it works fine going up and down with no extra noises but once it stops it makes a ticking or cracking sound for the next five or so minutes until it settles into place. It seems to be the worst when it goes all the way up. The passenger side goes down fine but moves slowly on the way up, this one makes no noises. Bad motor? Bad regulator? Bad clip?
These aren't immediate problems because both still work but I don't want to get stranded with stuck windows especially because I don't have a garage
