Black out grill

Hey guys,
I was wondering if there are black grill covers for the X. Cuz I believe Hamann made some for the 3 series a while back. If you guys know please let me know asap. Thanks a lot. And any suggustions on smoking the rear tail lights? Thanks a lot guys!

Not sure what you are talking about here. Are you talking about something that blocks the kidney grill vents/slats? That would not be a wise move since those provide air flow directly to the front of the radiator.

Haha, no. I just meant the covers for the chrome trim. Black not chrome. you know? haha sorry for the confusion

None are avilable that I have ever heard of. You need to have them painted. Many here have gone that route. Pics are avilable if interested.

That's a good option but I think they are a matte black and that wouldn't look as good as gloss black.

If one gets their chrome surrounds painted, the prep is all important. There's lots of sanding to get that fake chrome layer off.

Ebay has them for $60, I'll most likely be getting mine from there.
