Very nice! Any issues at the moment or is it ready as is? I am still working on getting mine in shape. Should have it back on Tuesday with new axels, fresh fluids and a few other odds and ends addressed...

It isn't an old BMW without minor annoyances is it. There are few kinks that need work but I like it that way as it keeps me busy.

  • Did V32 custom navi firmware update yesterday. Getting screen replaced in NJ next week, quite a few dead pixels.
  • Swapped license plate to led, now have occasional warning on cluster but lights work ok. Same bulbs on E83 and no warning so I guess the onboard electrical diag system in the E83 X3 is less senstive.
  • Deciding which way to go with music integration.

Thanks Josh, The n52 motor in LCI X3 with manual transmission puts the 260 horses to work beautifully.

Ven, i live in allentown, PA, but in jersey all the time. I can turn off the cold monitoring on the led's for you that way they wont go bad as quickly (no flickering), and no error messages. Can do some other things as well. PM me if interested.

For music, Dynavin and Avin are the two top picks. Or there is an OE aux input you can add if you don't have it already. It is about $30-40 depending on where you pick it up.

Josh,

I may just replace screen and go with Aux for now. The 2 units you mentioned are good as well. I need to read more about them but again may just wait for Gen 2 of them.

Sidenote:
I have a Mediabridge from Dice/Audiovox works like a charm on my E83. But in E53 with DSP and 16:9 screen the well documented display text issues are preventing me from going that route.
