Throttle pedal assembly replacement

Need to replace my throttle pedal assembly on my 2003 E53 3.0i MT. Is it as easy as swapping out the new assembly, or will I need to have the ECU reset after the new assembly is installed?

You will need to align the pedal potentiometer with the throttle body. There's a procedure on the net for this.

This one?

TBA reset:

- Put the power on but do not start the engine.
- Floor the throttle for 30-60 seconds
- Keep the throttle to the floor and put the power OFF
- Release the throttle and wait 2 minutes

Could someone confirm the throttle adaptation reset procedure for my 2003 E53 3.0i MT as stated in my previous post?

I'm finding several different procedures online, and most are NOT specific to the e53... some have the throttle pedal to the floor during the procedure, and some do not...

Thanks in advance!!
