You will need to align the pedal potentiometer with the throttle body. There's a procedure on the net for this.

Could someone confirm the throttle adaptation reset procedure for my 2003 E53 3.0i MT as stated in my previous post?
I'm finding several different procedures online, and most are NOT specific to the e53... some have the throttle pedal to the floor during the procedure, and some do not... Thanks in advance!!
