That's cool. RealOEM show E53 production ceasing in 9/2006 so there is either something wrong with their database, or....?

Out of interest - does your 2007 date show on the build plate or the compliance plate? Reason I ask is that (for example), my vehicle was built in Nov 2005, but the compliance date is mid 2006. What the means is that it was sitting around in a factory or importer lot for several months unsold, waiting to be allocated to a dealer. Compliance plates are often not fitted until the vehicle is 'sold' to a dealership.

Right, been on real oem, not sure quite where to look. The last 7 digit vin search comes up under the 1998 - 2006 parts list however completed another search showed a build date of jan 2006. So basically states that the car sat for 15 months before being purchased and registered

I have the original one via pdf at home which ill recheck. ones lying haha

^This makes more sense. So it was basically sold as a 2006 leftover.

I personally have not seen an E53 produced in 2007
