newbie from uk with x53 2007 (i know i thought they stopped in 2006)

Picked up my 2007 x53 from a local trader on saturday. Was surprised to see a 2007 e53 but all checked out when did my research on it. Was built in jan 07 and first registered in march 07. also a manual too and low miles with 49k on the clock. I am well impressed and glad i stepped up to this beautiful beast.

A facelifted 6-speed E53, with Euroclear xenons, factory Navigation, Sport Package, and is that Oyster leather? Absolutely gorgeous! Adding you to the manual transmission registry as we speak, what an awesome find!

I believe it is sir. Many thanks, i was shocked to see it personally, even the dealer knew it was a rare motor. How rare is the manual then?

Only things i can see missing (still new to x5's) is DSP and heated seats.
Not sure the other options that would have been available.

^In the States its pretty damn rare, I would imagine a lot of guys "on the other side of the pond" drive a stick, but in the US it is not popular. You guys also got a 3.0D whereas we did not, that was offered in manual too.

Only 3-pedal E53 in the states was with the 3.0 I6, facelifted 6-speed examples seem to be a bit more rare than the 2001-2003 5MT, but still both are very rare, nonetheless.

I thought I had one of the last built E53's with 11/06 build date? Obviously not. Congrats to you on your purchase (great colour) and welcome to the forum.
