Valve cover gaskets.

Get the Viton set if you want them to last.........BMW E53 X5 M62 4.4L Engine Gaskets & Seals Valve Cover - 11121437395KT - Ultimate Valve Cover Gasket Set - ES#2713032

Save around $40 on the cheap set, expect them to leak every 2 years.

You have a bad ignition coil pack, and you should look into valve cover gaskets.

The oil around the spark plugs is likely causing the missing. While it is a possibility a coil pack is bad it is impossible to know that at this point. Missing can be caused by many reasons and significant troubleshooting or reading error codes would be needed to determine why the miss if is not due to the oil.

If you need to replace a coil pack (swap the coilpack from the misfire cylinder to another cylinder, clear codes, start & drive. If misfire moved with coilpack, replace), be aware the German made Bremi coils are still available from vendors online (around $50), go to a BMW part dept and expect a Pulse brand (China made with BMW logo) for OVER $120!!!

I just replaced 1 coil and they wasn't that expensive. I have a m54 so I don't know how different the coils are for a m62 but a set of 6 bremi coils were $72 on amazon and the Bosch coils were $135

Obviously oil in sparkplug is not good thing, but have you checked the code for CEL?
