Is this normal? Air suspension question

Hello everyone,

On my 4.6iS, if I put it in reverse and fully lock the steering wheel to the right(or left), there is a very noticeable and felt 'drop' of the hood. If I fully turn the wheel to the right, the right front of the car drops way too much... same thing happens if I turn left... Anyone experienced this?

How do you come to suspect an issue with the air suspension...when your description seems to involve the front end appearing to drop? Are you sure you're not assuming that the position of the front wheel's affect when they are turned to complete lock isn't what you're experiencing?

The e53 X5 4.6is only has the single (rear) axle air suspesion...EHC I...and the front axle has conventional coil springs & struts/shocks (sports tuned...but conventional):

I do have the stock 20 inch wheels on, I'm doing a major service now, and will get the wheels aligned again next week.

Yes, the wheels are affected at complete lock causing the front of the car to lean and dip towards wherever I am steering (in excess, almost like a small boat). What could be the problem?
