intermittent bumpy ride
BMW X5 E53 2002 3.0i Petrol, Auto transmission, 162,000 km reading
------------------------------------------------------ Today i was travelling in my car at a 100 kmph, suddenly I experienced patchy /rough ride. Felt vibrations on steering wheel. I was in a tunnel at slightly bent to right, that time. Thought it must be road. But after I come out of tunnel also it was same for few kilo meters and it was okay then. I had no error messages on display, nothing. I experienced the same, some time ago, in a different tunnel it was also curve like tunnel. Now car ride is smooth. 1. Any idea what it could be. 2. I have not changed transmission oil, I know BMW says its for life, is it better to change now? 3. What about wheel alignment. Any ideas, experiences, suggestions...pls share. Thanks in advance... |
