Sell my my E53 6MT, buy automatic or Range Rover Sport?

Hey Guys, I have stressed this in some of my posts but I think we get to the point where I, unfortunately really going to have to do this. Wife wants X5 but auto... For 12 years we're married she did not spark any interest in driving at all, I mean she has a licence and skills (back in the years in Ukraine she drove everyday), but here in US we owned VW Jetta 2.0T with DSG (that was a blast and joy to drive), Honda Accord (naah, nothing special, just a ride), Subaru Legacy 3.6R (was OK, pushable) and now we have Infiniti Q50 Premium AWD, she never wanted to take any of those even around the block... I bring this X5 form North Carolina, and she goes "Nice bimmer, lets go to old airport so I can drive it around"... Now, when she officially wants it, she is looking at me like "You have 2 cars and I none", Infiniti is not the point of desire
So now, after spending nearly $1300 just to register it, installing new Rear Crank Shaft Seal, Flywheel, Clutch, Short Throw Shift Kit, Clutch Slave Cylinder, Set of new tires, replacing both guibos, new oil in gear box, transfer case, both differentials all with the though that I invest in to all of to have properly maintained car to enjoy looks like I have to swap it for automatic.

Hi guys, with respect to the car I won't strip it of any parts. It is a nice truck and I can't and won't take anything off it even if that will translate in to possibly making some additional money

lol - yes the $300-350 I was prepared to offer on top of doing the swap is surely much less than you would get on a trade or a private sale for just having that item on the X. A buyer is surely going to pay at least the retail price of the running boards, or perhaps up to $1k extra in value because of them.

Sir, you missing the point, it is not about the money.. I did not know value of them new and how does it affect the price having them on vs not.. I did not ask you, how much are you offering, did I? I will take a huge loss selling this car, I understand and accept it but I will not part it out. Please go bully someone else.
