All that you have said plus my spouse can also drive stick without a hitch. It was a requirement for marriage.

That's why I married a car chick who played sports and is into tech. LOL I get to do my sports a couple of times a week and she helps me work on the car or the computers. #luckyashellandIknowit
Sometimes it can be beneficial to have a spouse with totally different interests or skills than yours. Mine is a financial genius. She got us to acquire assets that I was initially resisting and now they're worth a fortune. She keeps the books in order as much as I keep the cars in tip top condition.

Oh for sure, I didn't mean to imply that EVERYONE had to share all their hobbies with their spouses for a relationship to work. It works for us and in other cases having nothing in common may work for others. I just hear some complain about getting into trouble for indulging in their hobbies... that's when it can be beneficial.

I do the finances here and my wife wants nothing to do with them... so I get what you are saying. Again, didn't mean to imply what works for us works for everyone.
