Help me pick which style wheels would work best for a more "off-road" look
This is the selection of rims I have to pick from. Don't mind the tires, I'll be mounting something different when I decide. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The color is also up for debate but I want to pick a style first and then go down that rabbit hole. |

Probably 17" style 130. Less weight and off road tire will look bigger.

I've been looking at the two silver wheels since you said that and I don't necessarily see how the style 130 would make the tire look bigger. You think the "lip" is thinner looking?

Style 112 for me. I just like how the 5 spoke pattern isn't as straight as the 130, I bit less prim and proper than the 130 which works for me.

The 130 seems too "flat" for a chunkier tire but I keep going back and forth between them all. |

112's without a doubt.

Get some style 214s and 275/40/r20 Atturo X/T muds and be my Canadian cousin! Great setup! I still voted for the 130s from your selection. And I would say keep them silver.

didn't vote, but here's a bizarro version, to avoid making mistakes in choosing
![]() A crude MS Paint pic of my X5 with my homemade trailer's wheels added. I'm sure this has been done somewhere in actuality before, despite the nullification of BMW's inherent stylish looks. My X5 still rides on all-season tires on the stock Style 57 wheels, thank you. Pay no attention to the homemade roof rack, please! Here's my 4'x8' homemade squareback trailer, with the modular wagon wheels ($35-40 each, from SW Wheel, with spare from Northern Tool), and the General Grabber AT2 all-terrain tires ($110 each, from Amazon, with spare $120 from Tire Rack), installed circa 2017-8. I's still rolling fine, in 2023, since the trailer only leaves the garage for under a week per year (tires will last forever this way).
