Installing Euro Clears?? might want to read this....

Hi folks...

I posted a few days ago about a wierd yellow spot my drivers side Euro Clear retrofit was projecting. No one seemed to have any ideas, so i pulled the front apart again and removed the lights to see if i had missed something......What i found was pretty interesting: I dont remember anyone mentioning this in the lighting section so here goes....

See attached pix. If you remove the D2s HID bulb, and look inside at the 'shield' you will notice that by rotating the black plastic tab that surrounds the projector housing, that a tiny aux shield appears in the lower step of the "Z" in the shield.
Now mind you, this is different than the high/low beam shield that moves, it looks like its attached to that main shield and rotating the tabs i've drawn red arrows to.
My drivers side was in the "Shield Up" position, for lack of a better term, and the passenger side was rotated in the "Shield Down" position.
Projected on a flat wall at night, the passenger cut-off was correct, sharp and a nice blue peeking out....but the drivers side had a big yellow spot, and the cut-off was blurred and not defined well....
I dont know what these 'Aux' shields do, but i just wanted to post my findings in case someone else was doing thier own euro-clear install.
Also, i posted a pic of a mistake i made on bumper removal. I have headlight washers, and the lights wouldnt clear them, so i had to loosen the bumper. I wasnt aware of these 2 black tabs per side. You need a thin blade like a flathead screwdriver to release the bumper from the tabs, for they will snap right off if pulled on. I found out the hard way, but luckily i only broke one tab and the bumper still fit correctly when re-assembled.
