2006 X5 3.0 Door open message while driving

Hi guys, so after a good rain, I've got a "door open" message on cluster and interior lights go on/off while car is in motion, all doors were closed properly so it is obviously a sensor. Any way to pin point which one? While I can see (I think) where those sensors are, How do I pop them out? - hopefully no need to take a door panel off.

I got this before on my x, it was the door latch box on the inside of door, it would only happen once in a while, so I had to wait till it happened to let me know which door it said was open when they were all closed..replaced it and all good.

I just noticed that RH rear door handle was a little sluggish and retaining mechenism was not pulling it back in all the way.... What hapened prior was, i did not unlock all the doors and did not see that my daughter ran out of a house, so she had made a few pull attempts.. I pulled the handle and sprayed some WD-40 in to the gap as well as in to latching mechanism.. It became to operate smooth, but for now I hang out in living room so I can hear alarm yapping if it will. On other hand, if 10 y. o.. Broke the door handle, that would be huge disapointment and reason to concider to switch to less brakeable brand

Even if i wait in the car, how to pin point which door?

Open one door at a time and see what happens to the message.

Thanks, I saw it but while I can, probably, take care of the problem, even if latch has to be replaced, I still need a way to figure out which door

i work at a dealership, so I just had them plug it in when it did it. I know, thanks pete, that helps!
