I need some help


If you look closely the ticking comes not from the tripod axle but from the housing

What is it ? What can I do abouth it ?

It's a old axle never removed the inner axle and had no problems for 7 years

I was changing the cv boot and I noticed the ticking noise when The axle moves back and forth

Drives realy smooth no noise at all but when parked if I wigle the steeringwheel the ticking noise is hearable

It moves 2 or max 3mm back and forth

I wonder if the Front diff bearing is loose.
Did you check the oil level in the Front diff?

No I did not

Just open the fil plug if it drains then the oil is oke right ?

Any other suggestions ?

What to do if the bearing is loose ?
