Ratcheting gear noise on left turn
Sounds like a ratcheting gear on gentle left turns. Hard to reproduce, but seems loosely repeatable with steering wheel at about 70-80 degrees turned to the left. Only seems to be when taking off gently from standstill.
I've done a tight figure 8 exercise in a parking lot to see if I could hear a CV joint creaking, but I heard nothing and couldn't reproduce. No codes either. When you turn the car off, you don't hear the transfer case gear noise I've heard others mention. Any ideas?
