Anyone with a BMW Scanner or INPA in DFW area?

Hey folks, does anyone in the DFW area have access to a BMW Scanner v1.4 or INPA to read the on-board computer? I have the DSC/Brake/ABS lights on...

Or do you have a trustworthy indy that could do it? I am trying to avoid going to Classic BMW or BMW of Dallas, I have had bad experiences there.

Thanks!

I suggest buying one and keeping in the car as the cost will pay for itself the first time or two. I use Creator C310 scanner, got it from amazon for 50$, (now 70$)

He's looking for a scanner that can read BMW modules other than the OBD II modules. Specifically he looking to get his car scan as to why he has the trifecta of lights on.

Kinda doubt that $50 scanner will meet his needs.

The Creator 310 does support ABS, SRS and other modules within the vehicle.

Not 100% sure the Creator provides Live/Realtime data for ABS and SRS, but for the price it is not likely a bad option to have on hand.

http://www.amazon.com/Version-Creato...ds=creator+310

But the OBDII smart phone/tablet Apps still trump anything else for driveability problems.

C310 does give BMW module based diag. I used it on E53 and E83 and was able to read faults code that are BMW based like 2e97 etc, not generic P1005.

Thanks. I opted to buy my own BMW Scanner v1.4... It gets here tomorrow...

I did not know that they were not too expensive... Assuming the darn thing works, then if anyone ever needs to use one in DFW, PM me! Lol

Hi, prep the laptop that runs windows XP, anything else won't be as straight forward installation or will not work.
