2004 4.8is start up noise...

I bought the 4.8 a few months ago obviously not knowing when the last oil change was performed I asked my best friend to take care if it at his shop. That same day I started hearing this noise on start up, I can't remember what oil weight he used now but I did research it then and it was what was recommend, also used a OEM filter. Well now I'm kinda getting annoyed every time I hear it. It only last for a couple minutes then it goes away. Please watch the video and let me what you think.

it sounds like there is no lubrication on a part of the engine... the X5 takes 5W-30 full synthetic. I use LIQUI MOLI but thats just me and oem filter. The engine takes 9Lt~8Qt, check your oil level and check that it's top off. If i misted something others will help cover me.

Cheers

BMW original maintenance of 15000 miles for an oil change. Sludge can form in an engine with less frequent oil change. BMW has revised the oil change interval since the initial recommendation.
