Window Regulator clip

Anyone just replace the below on their regulator? My window wouldn't go up so taking off the regulator, it looks like it's only this clip that's broken. Thoughts?

I have a pair waiting to go in - if just the clip is broken those should work great - also get 2 black plastic window clips from the dealer and enjoy a working window again, those RegulatorFix clips are much beefier and heavy duty as well compared to the ones that come on the actual regulators.

Just finished the job. Wasn't too hard. It's harder making sure everything works and put together properly in the end!

There are so many sellers for this clip on ebay.

Could you post the exact link to a particular buyer(s) that you recommend?

^I bought mine from RegulatorFix.com - he used to post on this board which was how I got referred

OP - Are you satisfied with those clips after the R&R and does the window open/close more securely now?

My front windows sometimes have a loud POP.
They go up and down just fine.
The pop is always immediately on the down cycle.
They work fine, just sounding like something is going to
break.
Will this regulator fix, repair the pop noise?

There is a cable that attaches to a plastic clip that slides up and down the rail. That's probably broken. I used 2 zip ties to keep the cable attached to the plastic clip on the rail. Sorry I don't have pics. I'm sure there are some if you do a search.

AV8R, the popping is the tell-tale sign that your window clip is about to give up. Mine were sure fire, as soon as the new clips were in, the popping was gone. The problem is that it will finally give up at that moment which is the most inopportune for you ;-)
