Change OEM Air Suspension to which aftermarket (air) suspension system?

Ok the 2005 4.8is with the funky air suspension system may be too expensive to fix. There are complications I can explain later.

That being said if I want to simply replace the entire OEM system with an aftermarket AIR system with adjustable ride height anyone have any suggestions? HAS ANYONE DONE THIS TO A 4.8is?

Thanks I still haven't really got all the history together but bought this really GORGEOUS truck two weeks ago with a clean exterior and interior (TiAg with Silver/Black alcantara M texture/ sport seats) 120K miles and no issues except the suspension which drops in the front after sitting.

Most parts may have been replaced already I believe but still investigating and WAITING for work history info.

THANKS for any ideas!

Yes it has, you have mostly everything in place, lines front and back for the air ride along with air struts up front and rear bags.

My buddies car had autopilot v2 management, he has since sold it however with his system you dont have to deal with any dis/inpa programming and can adjust your height from slammed out to 4/5 inches of wheel gap on the fly.

Accuair also has a great system called e level - https://accuair.com/airmanagementpro...r-w-touchpad-8

Has a remote control can edit heights when the car is parked and also preprogram 3 desired height levels so you dont need to adjust manually with controls, say one slammed out for parking, 2nd for ride height and 3rd for max height.

I think you would be hard pressed to find a an aftermarket air suspension system that is goping to outlast and out perform the OEM air strut system. If you want reliability beyond the air system then you need to change out the system to a conventional coil spring system.
