Northeast members post your snow pics

No drifting and driving for me this time around, got hit good. Almost got stuck in the driveway messing around after I snowblowed behind the garage door.

Post up some pics and your location... Vids if you have any.

Location- Allentown, Pa

On a side note this gave me time to fix my pass side outer door handle, what a pain...

I'll bet that sucked... the vapor barrier monkey snot turns hard as a rock in cold temps. Makes removal without tearing the barrier virtually impossible... as evidenced in your pics.

Really nice X though. Always enjoy seeing pics of it. Even tucked in the garage.

Maybe youve seen me tearing up the local roads ha.

Crystalworks- the tar separated for me torward the top however i took a razor and slashed out that mini flap to work on.

Also theres a big center clip that didnt want to come loose had to yank on the door, broke that orange led and the interior door handle (i was pissed, take apart door to fix outer now inners broke) however managed to out it back together and interior one working too.

Cleared off the 20+ inches of snow on the car cover. I' m waiting for the snow plow that never comes before even thinking of driving as we have 3ft of snow drifts in the road. The county came and gave up after two houses. Now we have a 6 ft wall of ice in the middle of the road. It is going to be a long winter.....

just out of curiosity
how did "you" cope in that much snow, did your entire community grind to a halt, reason why I say this is , in the uk if we get as much as 4 or 5 inch the whole world ends
you know , no one can drive in it , mass panic, you get the idea

^Yeah that center clip is a bitch and always stays on the door when you take the panel off, after you unsnap the perimeter you need to press the panel up slightly to slide it up and off the clip - then take pliers and squeeze the tabs on the metal retainer, slide the black plastic clip off and reinstall it on the door panel when you put it back.

Should have preventatively done the regulator clips while it was open if you haven't done those previously. Good weekend to catch up on some DIY!

That blows... I've repaired those courtesy door pocket LED's on X5's. Careless techs always always break them when doing regulators (not calling you careless, probably more unlucky ). In case you were wondering, replacing that part is ~$55 if memory serves. Replaced one on the previous X5 I had...
