a very simple question. which is left or right side?

i need to change the rear right abs sensor on my 2001 4.4 x5
is that looking from the front, right hand rear?
or looking from the back, right hand rear?

I only changed that one 6 months ago. £ 14.95 it cost . I'm Supprised it fitted.
i have gone for a better quality one this time at £58

ALL REFERENCES TO LEFT AND RIGHT are as if sitting in the driver seat looking forward. In the USA the right side is the passenger side, so the right rear speed sensor would be behind the passenger. In the UK, the right side is the driver side.

Ditto, ditto, ditto...left/right side is always from the perspective from sitting behind the steering wheel (facing forward).
