Expense and Frustrated old X5

205K miles on my 01.3.0 auto. Just returned to FL from CO a 2000 mile trip.
Started up and drove fine except for the loud clunk over minor bumps on the left side.
Then, after sitting for two days, nothing. NO start, dead, dead battery.
Just had it towed to shop.
But first. A shop in Boulder changed out the abs module, steering angle sensor and attempted to fix the trifecta lights. The lights stay on when first started until you drive about 20 yards. Is this normal?
New key fob ordered. Worked about a week and now nothing.
Prior to new key fob, right rear door actuator stopped working.
Funny, key lock system worked fine with new battery in old fob for about a year. So, I bought a new key.
Didn't have any luck with two different repair shops in greater Denver/Boulder.
