BMW E53 Pre-faclifted Grills

Okay I am also in need of some new grills for my 2003 X5 4.6is but I want a qu ality set that is the black chrome or black smoked chrome ones. I usually purchase these from Schmeidman for my other BMWs but they do not have any of those for the X5. Does anyone have a source of good quality that you would recommend? ECS tuning does not carry any of these types that I am looking for.

Check scopioneusa.com for black grills both matte and the gloss black as well as carbon fiber with matte slats. I actually found the carbon fiber at a special price of I believe $164 delivered and I just installed it it's a perfect fit and good quality. That was on eBay and it's a scopione. I don't know about the chrome ones. I have titanium silver on my 2005 4.8is and the black grill really pops nicely. I will be installing the Black oem hood grills tomorrow.

The finish looks to be good but the picture that they show appears to be for a post face lifted (shape of grills) X5 vs my pre-faclifted version.

Yes the photos often do not match the item, but the description is correct.

Call them. I am very pleased with my purchase from them.
