Ice stuck to inside of rims - cause shuddering?
Would ice stuck to the inside of my rims cause major shuddering at highway speeds?
snowed here in NY and I took the highway yesterday after the storm and going over 50 cause the entire vehicle to shake - felt like a bad wheel balancing... At the time I was confused with all the other stuff going on with the X i assumed its another thing...... but sleeping on it I realized it might just be ice frozen on the inner side of the 20s. I checked this morning and there is some on the 2 front rims... Has anyone ever experienced this?

It's funny I had the EXACT same thing happen to me this morning. At low speeds everything felt fine. Once I got it on the highway, I felt shaking in the entire vehicle so bad that I pulled over. I checked all the tires thinking maybe I had a flat, but everything seemed fine. Checked under the car to see if something was stuck under there but I did not think to check the inside of the wheels. I hope this is my issue as well.
