Lots of Maintenance Coming Up

The reason for the maintenance, the transmission stopped going forward, works great in reverse. I will be pushing into the garage so as not to mess up the transmission insides.

As usual I will be documenting with pictures and hopefully some video. If there is a certain thing that someone wants an in depth look, let me know.

I am planning 30 days to work on this, about 4-5 hours a day.

Just ordered a master rebuild kit for the transmission with the upgraded "A" drum, a master rebuild kit for the transmission valve body, a master kit for the timing chain and guides, new upper left/right timing chain tensioners, (Bottom chain tensioner in kit), ordered a cam lock kit /w 10 pieces in it, and a master kit for the front steering/suspension /w control arms. The rack and pinion was supposedly new when I bought it.

In the last year, a whole new cooling system even the fan (BMW installed), battery (BMW installed), alternator (BMW installed), rebuilt the transfer case, new extended spline drive shaft and guibows (flex discs), rear suspension, all door locks, power steering system (BMW installed), and air pump for the rear leveling (BMW installed).

This should be able to go another 200K

I am getting ready to overhaul my own transmission and have already followed along many other posts on the subject but more photos and details the better
