Dynavin 2004 4.8iS Head Unit Questions
The Eanon head unit has its perks. I really like the torque app. Not so sure about using this head unit with DSP. Is there an option to purchase that automatically works with DSP? The Dynavin head unit has its perks as well. The OBC still functioning is a plus. And the maps looks really nice (as far as I can tell anyway). But, can you download apps to the Dynavin head unit? I know there is an APPS folder on the videos showing them, but I have never seen anyone opening it and using an app. My screen rarely even comes on anymore. It's just a white screen and I want to update the Head Unit, but I don't want to pay $1500-$2000 either. Hopefully someone can answer some of these questions. |

Does the OBC functions really work/resettable with the Dynavin? I loved our Avin but hated we could not access the OBC functions.
Might have to look into the Dynavin even though it is not Android based.

Dynavin 2004 4.8iS Head Unit Questions

Yes. OBC functions really work/resettable with Dynavin. But I really like the other options available with an android based head unit through apps like torque with Bluetooth dongle. I extremely like the fact that the Dynavin is completely plug and play. I'm just trying to figure out if I can add apps lol. My mind is almost made up but I tend not to impulse buy. And I felt that the installation guide for the Dynavin was pretty nice.
Concise.

How are the apps for Dynavin? Can you just download whatever onto the sd card and load on the unit? |

I can't reset OBC function with my N6 (if I can someone enlighten me) which I absolutely hate and the ipod interface portion of it is REALLY slow/freezes (doesn't matter how new of an ipod I connect).
I know I can connect the OBC in the glove box but besides that how do I reset it?

^If you relocate it Olek you can probably just reset it using the MID in the glovebox or on your stalk like normal, no?

Then I was mistaken. I thought you could reset just like oem. I thought for sure I saw that function during a video I watched. I will have to look again. |

A lot of people move the OBC to the glove box and retain both. I didn't because I wasn't paying attention and by the time I realized I needed the stock OBC it was too late as I had sold it.
