Rola 59828 vs 59829
Looks like searching through the forum people have use both interchangeably on the x5. Websites however say the 59828 is for the 2003 - 2006 x5 and the 59829 for the 2007 on. Dimensions are the same (specs). Anyone know the difference?

I have a set of 59828 on my X5. Unless you are buying them used, why not buy the one specified for your year X.

I will _guess_ that the dimensions are not actually the same, and the specs are wrong.

But I've got a set of Rola's on my 2001 and am very happy with them. I do seem to remember when I was shopping for them that there _was_ a difference for the 2007+ ones.

Generally I agree but I cannot find anything on a technical spec sheet to confirm that.

Best thing to do will be to drive the X to the seller house and ask if you can try them on the X before buying them. If you are buying them from a place like Ebay, the shipping cost to return them if the seller is willing to accept them will be pretty high since they are considered as oversize item.
