Multiple Cylinder Misfire

I have an '01 X5 4.4i Sport model, mileage 97,676. Just recently I have had issues with the Service Engine Soon light, and then hooking up my OBD II pocket scan which reads P1341 (Multiple Cylinder Misfire), P1343 (Misfire Cylinder 1), P1345 (Misfire Cylinder 2). Engine idles funny then after it's warm enough runs fine. Asked local mechanic and he said usually ignition coil replacement, of course he wanted to charge me $130 for a diagnostic. Any suggestions to fix this problem would be appreciated.
